We have been 10 years developing communication systems for nanosatellites in LEO orbit with Software Defined Radio.
Our communication systems are on board of the satellites Nanosat-01 (December 2004) and Nanosat 1B (July 2009), which have been developed in collaboration with INTA.
As part of the Copernicus Initiative, this project presents a novel early warning technology for reporting and managing
operations to prevent and rapidly extinguish wilfires. The system aims to be the first real-time navigator that
tracks wilfires and guides the fire brigades to the incident. It will provide all the critical information required for a
successful extinction operation, efficiently combining new in-situ image processing algorithms and imagery from
Copernicus.
